I have some SUPER exciting news to tell you all about!!!!!!!!
Nashvilleedge.com is a brand new e-zine all about what's going on in Nashville. There are pieces on music, arts and entertainment, places to go, places to eat at, member photos and blogs. But what's really cool about this site is that the stories are told through video journalism. This week they are doing a piece on Songposium and are documenting my week and posting it daily on their web site- in fact, it is LIVE right now! So here's where you come in, go check it out- vote, send it to all your friends-! and post your message on your thoughts. We are shooting all this week, so please, vote, vote often and be sure to check it out nashvilleedge.com each day to see my video diary!

For those of you that don't know....

615 Baby!

I just moved to Nashville- that's right! I am writing to you for my new home in Hermitage, TN. Hermitage is just about 15 minutes from downtown Nashville and interesting to note, it is the home of former President, Andrew Jackson. I've been here since July and I can't believe it's been 3 months already! Music City is everything I could have ever hoped that it would be and more and feels like *HOME.

New web site!
Yep, that's right, I finally redesigned my web site, it was a long time coming and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. With this latest version, I really wanted the design and vibe of the site to be more edgy, a little unfinished, a little off-beat, I also wanted to incorporate a more personal side of me. The result? A site I am SUPER proud of tells my journey not only as a singer and songwriter, but as a person. I hope you enjoy looking through the photographs, and taking a trip down memory lane, just as much as I did when I designed each page! There are a few sections that I am still working on, the resources (links), video, press, photo gallery. I will get those new pages up in the next few weeks and will continue to add pages as we go. I also will be adding a blog, that I will write in weekly documenting my adventures and happenings in my career.

Songposium or bust!
For all you NSAI members, this week is of course Songposium here in Nashville. Sonposium is a week long of educational classes that the NSAI puts together, where a host of songwriters, musicians, singers teach different workshops about songwriting, guitar playing, singing, publishing, demoing. A lot of songwriters from out of town come in for the week to attend Songposium, Song Camp and the panel discussions. This weekend they are having Song Camp 102 and on Sunday, at the Douglas Corner Cafe, the hit songwriter/instructors from Song Camp are doing a round at 8 p.m. On Monday there are 2 panel discussions being held at Belmont University, one for publishers and the other with songwriters. On Tuesday, Songposium officially kicks off and at 4:30 p.m. the CMA is hosting the "World's Largest # 1 Party" in the parking lot of the CMA building. They will be handing out awards to all the songwriters who had # 1 hits in the last year. The rest of the week is full of classes, I am taking 6 or 7 classes- so excited- this will be my first time attending! I will take lots of pictures, and writing daily on my myspace blog (for now). So check it out!

Thanks to all my fans, my family and friends for keeping the faith! I love you guys!

Keep Dreaming,
